My name is Duncan Peace and I really like painting letters. Have done for most of my life, in one way or another. In the last ten years or so that has taken the form of traditional signwriting, with a brush but I have memories of drawing letters on anything and everything as far back as primary school!

People often ask how I got into such a niche craft but I actually don’t think it’s that niche at all- letters are literally everywhere, they form a massive part of our daily lives. I think it’s strange more people aren’t fascinated by lettering!

Either way, signwriting is more than a job for me, it’s a labour of love and I am constantly learning, practicing and refining my small contribution to this amazing craft.
